Christy Ryan (Tissy)

Where do I start? How many years did we fight like cats and now we love each other like crazy!? Yes, I'm talking about my little sister, Christy! We have been through so much and have come out the best of friends. I know I could tell her anything and she’d love me for me. If you haven't met her yet, brace yourself... she's a load of love and laughs!

Kristi Guess (Kris)

I've known this sista-girl for a little over 10 years! When God brought her into my life, He knew I needed someone to tell me like it is, listen when I needed to vent and remind me to laugh at myself. It feels like just yesterday, we were swinging and contemplating God and life. Ha! It’s been amazing watching Him at work in both our lives!

Tina Skelton (T-bird)

Tina and I met around the same time I met Kristi. I’m so thankful that what started in a small group 10 years ago blossomed into an awesome friendship. While Tina lived with me, we talked and prayed each other's ears off! Her smile lights up a room and she makes me laugh about the little things. Everyone needs a Tina in their life!

Meredith Smith (Mer-bear)

I met Mer about 9 years ago and we pretty much started "dating" each other. Ok- I'll explain! We were single and annoyed with boys, and working together made it easy to become instant friends. Mer has walked with me through a lot and through it all, has been an incredible source of strength and wisdom. She's a rock!

The Guys

Patrick Joseph

My bro! He’s such a stud. He just graduated from high school this year and is headed off to Union University in Jackson,TN. He’s a genius... he knows all the answers on Jeopardy, it makes my brain hurt. I know he’ll have a 4.0 in college. I’ve always had a great time hanging with him, and I’m really excited about him being a part of this next stage.

Will Weir

I’ve known Will since I moved here. We’ve been though so much together – High School, College, late night Gibson Doughnuts runs etc… He’s a world traveler and always has something going on that I wish I was doing. “What?!” “You’re in Ireland doing what?!” He’s a super cool guy and has been incredibly influential in my life and in helping make the DC proposal a huge success.

Ryan Wingo

Ryan is one of the most loyal guys I know. He’s an Alabama boy, and proud of it! I first met him several years ago and have been traveling around the country playing music with him ever since. He’s a great musician, songwriter, and worship leader; but most of all he’s a great friend. When you see him, ask him to tell you a story about growing up in Alabama, you’ll be on the ground in stitches!

Jeremy Horn

Jeremy is a worship leader at a church here in town. He has a great heart for people and loves to talk about some vintage gear. I’ve learned a lot from this guy. Jeremy is also super talented...he has an album out called Atmosphere and we’re working on another one right now. Great songs, and really great at leading them. I’ve seen God do some awesome things through this guy.

Eli Cain

This precious little one belongs to Candace's cousin Jay and his wife Gay. He's only 3 years old and can tell you all the oceans and continents...and that's only getting him started! He's also getting in a good dose of performing at school and I can't wait to see him shine as our ringbearer!

Flowergirl

Bethany Hitt

Bethany is such a cutie! She belongs to James' sister Erin and her husband Jonathan. It's so fun to watch her do "super soccer" kicks with Uncle James and walkaround in Aunt Candace's high heels... she says those are "WAY hard to walk in"! She's going to be an adorable flower girl!

Katy Hendrix

I met Katy over 10 years ago at the college bible study, Metro. We became fast friends when we started a small group together, and she's been one of my dearest friends ever since. I'm so thankful that the Lord has allowed for us to remain close. She is a rare gem, someone I admire and am honored to share time with... even if it's a quick dinner get-together leaving Silas at home with hubby, Chris :)

Heather Cox

Heather and I met at Highpoint Church about 8 years ago. In the 2 years we were in a small group together, I saw God do some amazing things through her and I just couldn't resist getting to know her better! She is one of the most sensitive, Spirit-filled women I know and I love talking with her about the Lord. She's such an encouragement to me... even in the busyness of her life now with 2 babies and hubby, Ben!

I met Heather about 2 years ago through my good friend Kelly when he had his eye on her :) I immediately felt at ease with her and was excited to see her get just as comfortable with our little 'crew'. I met Natalie through my good friend and band mate Chris. This godly woman brings so much warmth to a room and I love being around her! I don't know how she juggles so much and still has the energy to be as encouraging and kind as she is. I was privileged to sing in her wedding and am excited about her playing a part in mine! 

Megan Denney

Megan and I met at Speak and shortly after she started, she moved in to be my new roomie! I'm so thankful for God's timing in bringing her along. Megan is full of spunk and you can't help but laugh when you're around her. Kinda reminds me of myself... except people are usually laughing AT me! I'm so glad she's going to be a part of our special day!

Ushers

Jeff Brannon

Jeff is the clown of our crew... always willing to make himself look ridiculous for a laugh. In the long time we've known him, he's worn more "make you uncomfortable looking at it" costumes than we care to remember! This and some of his more redeeming qualities, like being a great listener and encourager, make him an awesome friend to us and we're excited to have him extend an arm to you!

Alan McNulty

This is one guy I bet could actually get you to your seat with his eyes closed... most of his pics usually turn up this way! Ha! We've known Alan for years and had the privelege of leading worship with him as our drummer, so we're excited to have him be a part of our special day. And if you haven't heard him play, you're really missing out!

Steve Riser

We call him Rise or Riser for short and he's been around since before we were a couple, so he's seen it all. We all often tease him about how frugal he is... the man doesn't play around about using coupons! He's full of great advice and is one of the most easy-going and caring guys we know. For this and many other reasons, we're so happy to have this true gentlemen help you to a seat.
